Claude Gmail is a personal tool used only by its owner, Carlos McCoy, with his own Google account.
Read-only access to Gmail (the gmail.readonly scope), plus basic profile information (name and email address) to identify the signed-in account. It cannot send, delete or change email.
Email is read only when the owner asks his AI assistant to do so. Sign-in tokens are stored locally on the owner's own computer. No data is sold, shared with third parties for advertising, or used to train models by this tool.
Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
